Since last update, a lot has happened, not with the site, but just in how my time has been occupied. I played Castlevania - Symphony of the Night and loved it. Our PS3 died shortly after I’d beaten the game when I was still going through and leveling up my familiars and Muramasa sword. Due to a number of circumstances surrounding our PS3 purchase, we didn’t get a replacement until a few days ago. In the meantime, I occupied myself with Castlevania - Curse of Darkness.

I liked both games a great deal.

Coming up next week is Soul Calibur IV. I’m going to get it and am kind of pysched for reasons I will detail shortly, but with it…

Dear Kazuya Fans,

Please stop taking every opportunity to bring up how much better you think Kazuya is than Jin every time there is a Jin-focused discussion or he, Jin, is simply mentioned as being liked by somebody, on a forum.

It’s just your opinion, and it’s not like you’re going to change any Jin’s fan’s mind; you’re just being annoying.

I only know the Blondie song, and may get it, and have heard of the Radiohead song, not familiar with the rest.

I tossed this together in Photoshop since my friend Jose expressed interest in tutorials on anything, so here we go. How to do a basic shine in Photoshop. 

This site has now been converted to a Wordpress blog. YAY!!! Why the yay? Well, for starters, the site now has a search feature. And secondly, I might update more now that’s easier to do so with Wordpress.

The LJ feed has been removed…for now. I am toying with the idea of bringing it back and show x-number of site-blog posts and x-number of LJ blosts on the main page. We shall see. I do rather miss having avatars with each post. Perhaps there is a plugin for that too. Noted to self as possible thing to look up.

A few words

This tutorial went into more detail than I intended, but I think it has a lot of good, helpful, useful information nonetheless. I take a lot of screenshots, for various reasons, and some people have wondered how I take them. I use a program called VirtualDubMod, as it provides a lot of control for picking out my just right shot and allowing me to make certain desired adjustments.

The following tutorial shows a recommended method of removing lines from lined paper for a drawing, using Photoshop 6.0.  The artwork used used in this tutorial is by my friend Kristen and is used with her permission in answer to her question, So to any of my more Photoshop talented friends, how do you get rid of the blue lines?
